Through her ministry, teaching, theological books, institutional leadership, preaching and pastoring, music and poetry, Rebecca is an exemplar of life lived with love, courage, creativity and an engaged mind. Her advocacy for the full humanness of us all, the importance of community, earth and all its creatures, and her persistent counter-oppressive pro-activity and work for justice has mentored a generation of ministers and activists, altered the theological landscape, and touched the hurting places in our lives with kindness and healing balm.
