Tree of Life Series:
We Protect Your Data, Our Work Is Our Own
Some of you have asked how data collected will be used. We all have a right to know what we can expect from each other and to expect that safe space would be held. This is an achievable goal because we have a right to the “Tree of Life.” All data is de-identified by SurveyMonkey at our request and in accordance with our IRB. This means that we don’t know how you have answered individually. Data is stored in a password protected location and can only be accessed by me and the team members who have received formal training from me and signed off on a document indicating an understanding of the responsibility to protect your privacy.
For those who care about such things, our IRB exemption certificate is available online here. While I am at it, permit me to mention that the IRB determination for this project is with IntegReview, an independent IRB. The Braxton Institute is not beholden to any college, university or medical school.
