Ari Pak
(he/they) Co-Vice President of the Board
Ari currently serves as the Co-Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Braxton Institute. Ari first joined the Braxton Institute as a volunteer Program Officer in 2017; directing a season of the Dialogues on Resisting and Thriving at the Potter’s House in Washington, D.C., and coordinating logistics for the historic 2017 Moral Injury Conference in Princeton, New Jersey. Ari joined the Braxton Institute Board of Directors in December 2021 with a special interest in supporting the organization's internal capacity development.
Ari’s professional background includes over ten years of experience in positive youth development, program design, and organizational capacity building and leadership. Ari is the Sr. Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist at the Forum for Youth Investment, an organization that advances equitable youth opportunities and outcomes through quality capacity building and policy action across systems and sectors. Ari’s work is grounded in the belief that all people deserve support and opportunities which allow them to thrive and realize their fullest potential.
Ari was born and raised in Northern Virginia and is a D.C. resident. They strive to bring their core values of justice and care to life through action in all realms of life. Ari loves their family, partner, cats, food, anything outdoors, and trying new things.
Ari has a B.A. in Psychology and Women’s Studies from The College of William & Mary and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Executive Management from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy Center for Public and Nonprofit Leadership.
